It's here that you'll find Europe's most compelling archaeological site: the ruins of Pompei.

Sprawling and haunting, the site is a stark reminder of the destructive forces that lie deep inside Vesuvius.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site provides a complete picture of a Roman city.

The extent of the archaeological sites makes them of the greatest importance, for they provide a unique source of information about so many aspects of social, economic, religious, and political life of the ancient world.  

This tour will take you back in time, through the ancient streets of the city where a sudden eruption of Vesuvius buried Pompeii under ash and lapilli, creating what seemed to be an open construction site.

My experience as an archaeologist will give travelers the chance to admire the hidden treasures of Pompeii.

Together we'll see the recent discoveries, temples, the most important houses of the site, public and civil buildings in the Forum, monumental inscriptions, electoral programma on the facade of the workshop, the evidence of graffiti and other Writings, frescoes, mosaics and the bodies of people who died during

the eruption of 79 DC.

We will also explore the Gladiators places, the Basilica, the Forum with the market, the Theaters, the Roman baths, Bars and Inns, and the famous Lupanar.
